I am a licensed clinical psychologist (TX 36516). As a military dependent, I travelled throughout the United States during my childhood and adolescence. My early life experiences gave me an appreciation for the amazing diversity of cultures and traditions throughout the world.

I completed my undergraduate training in psychology at Alfred University in upstate New York, before moving to Texas to complete my master's degree at UT Tyler followed by my PhD at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

During my training, I intentionally chose experiences working with clients from diverse backgrounds and struggling with a wide range of difficulties. As a result, I'm experienced in treating a wide range of difficulties with a wide range of clients. Most recently, I provided therapy to college students through SMU Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS). Previously, I worked in settings including community mental health, and juvenile detention, as well as working in a psychiatric emergency room and at an inpatient psychiatric hospital. For more details about my background and training, please see my LinkedIn profile.
